how comes that there are days when simply everything seems to go wrong although things started out really good? such a day was yesterday. i had an appointment with my supervisor (finally!), and things went really smoothly, it looks like everything is going to be fine in the end. but once i left the department and headed out on the street en route home, things started to go awry… i took the road to the highway (as always) only to discover that appr. 35 km of the “A2″ are closed due to whatever bizarre reason like changing light bulbs in the tunnels or so… great! as a result i ended up on the wrong lane and had to go 8 km in the wrong direction to get to the next exit and detour… and that was just the beginning… there was a huge traffic jam in and around Klagenfurt by that time and i was going bumper to bumper for almost an hour. oh isn’t it fun to be at the wrong place at the wrong time? *sighs*
