dystopic future

it is a huge mystery how the brain actually works. been reading stuff on neurotransmitter and serogenetic pathways lately. we do not know for sure why people become depressed or how anti-depressants work. we have been guessing so far, a trial and error thing: let’s try that drug, see if it works. i guess the brain is one of the last big unsolved questions so far. we already know something about it functions, but a lot is still unknown… and i believe that is kind of wonderful because once that puzzle is solved, it is just a question of time until human brains will be replaced by computers. (or in the worst case szenario, a dystopic future like the one of Matrix becomes reality.)
