solaris

slowly i am trying to get back into my project by watching recent sci-fi movies. i guess i found an excellent candidate for my analysis in solaris. (the 2002 remake starring george clooney.) it is a fascinating film, no doubt about that. it’s philosophical and moving. some people say it’s boring, well, that depends what you’re expecting. it is mistakenly labeled as “thriller” – solaris is by no means a thriller. but i won’t spoil anything. as i said, an excellent movie for my thesis.
